Terms of Service

Our terms and conditions governing the use of our services.

Last updated: April 27, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you,” “Customer”) and ViberHosting (“we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the services provided through viberhosting.com. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Refund Policy.

We may amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on viberhosting.com at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Services

ViberHosting provides shared web hosting, reseller hosting, virtual private servers (VPS), dedicated servers, domain registration and management, business email hosting, SSL certificates, and related infrastructure and managed services. The specifications, resource allocations, and features applicable to each service are described on the relevant product page on viberhosting.com at the time of purchase.

We target a network and platform availability of 99.9% on a monthly basis, excluding scheduled maintenance, force majeure events, and customer-caused outages. Where reasonably possible, scheduled maintenance is announced in advance via email and the client portal.

3. Account Registration and Accuracy

To use the services, you must register an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information including your full legal name, a valid email address, a postal address, and a contact phone number. For business accounts, you must provide your trade licence number, registered entity name, and authorised signatory details where applicable.

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to open an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for every activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. Accounts opened with false, incomplete, or misleading information may be suspended or terminated without refund.

4. Billing, Currency, and Taxes

All services are billed in advance in Pakistan Rupees (PKR) unless a different currency is shown at checkout. Pricing is published on viberhosting.com and may be changed at any time; existing services keep their renewal price for the current billing term and are subject to the prevailing rate at renewal.

We accept payment by credit and debit card, bank transfer, and prepaid wallet balance held in your client portal. Wallet credits are non-transferable between accounts. Bonus credits expire 12 months from the date they are added; cash deposits do not expire. Once a currency has been chosen for an invoice or wallet balance, it cannot be converted to a different currency.

Where applicable, prices are exclusive of Pakistan sales tax on services and any other taxes, duties, or government levies, which will be added at the rate in force on the invoice date. You are responsible for any withholding taxes imposed by your home jurisdiction; such taxes do not reduce the amount owed to us.

Invoices are due on issue. Services may be suspended if an invoice remains unpaid seven (7) days after the due date and may be terminated, with data deletion, if non-payment continues for thirty (30) days. A reactivation fee may apply to restore suspended services.

5. Renewal, Cancellation, and Downgrades

Services renew automatically at the end of each billing term at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date through your client portal or by contacting support. Renewal invoices are generated in advance to give you time to pay or cancel. Once a renewal has been paid, the service runs for the full new term and the renewal payment is non-refundable.

You may upgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid term; we do not pro-rate cancellations of unused time on shared hosting, reseller, or domain services.

6. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility, timeframes, and the request process are set out in our Refund Policy. Domain registrations and renewals, SSL certificates, dedicated and managed resources, and renewal payments are generally non-refundable. Please review the Refund Policy in full before placing an order.

7. Acceptable Use and Resource Limits

Your use of the services is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Shared hosting plans are designed for normal website use under fair-use limits on CPU, memory, processes, inodes, and bandwidth; sustained use that degrades performance for other customers may result in resource throttling, a required upgrade to a VPS or dedicated resource, or suspension.

We may suspend or terminate any service immediately if we believe its use poses a security, legal, or operational risk, including where we receive an abuse report from our datacenter or upstream network providers. In such cases no refund is provided.

8. Domain Registration

Domain registration is governed by the rules and policies of ICANN and of the relevant registry, including PKNIC for .pk family domains and the equivalent registry rules for generic and other country-code top-level domains. By registering a domain through us, you also agree to the registration agreement of the registrar of record and to the registry’s applicable policies.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate WHOIS / registration data. Domain names, once registered, generally cannot be renamed; you must register a new domain if a different name is required. Transfers in and out are subject to a 60-day post-registration / post-transfer lock under ICANN rules, registry requirements, and a valid authorisation (EPP/auth) code. Renewal grace periods, redemption fees, and deletion timelines follow registry rules and may change without notice.

If we are unable to register a domain you have ordered (for example due to a conflict at the registry or a registry policy refusal), we will refund the domain fee in full. Premium domain pricing is set by the registry and is non-negotiable.

9. Backups and Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining current backups of all data, code, and configurations stored on or used with your services. Where we provide automated backups as part of a plan, those backups are offered as a convenience only, are not guaranteed, and are typically retained on a rolling 7–30 day cycle depending on the plan.

We may, at our discretion, charge a manual restore fee for off-cycle restores or where backups must be retrieved from cold storage. Backup restore requests are processed during business hours and may take up to 24–48 hours.

10. Intellectual Property and Customer Content

You retain all ownership of the data, code, and content you upload to or generate on the services (“Customer Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, back up, and otherwise process your Customer Content solely as necessary to provide the services.

ViberHosting’s name, logo, website design, control panel customisations, and documentation are our intellectual property or that of our licensors and may not be copied, redistributed, or used to operate a competing service without our written consent.

11. Termination and Data Retention

You may terminate your services at any time through the client portal or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate any service for breach of these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, non-payment, fraud, or where required by law or by a competent authority in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

On termination for any reason, services and associated data may be retained for up to 30 days to allow retrieval, after which they will be permanently deleted. Termination for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate deletion without a retrieval window. Billing and tax records are retained for the periods required by the law of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ViberHosting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities, or data, arising out of or related to the services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the services shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to ViberHosting for the affected service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ViberHosting, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damages, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the services, (b) Customer Content, (c) your breach of these Terms or applicable law, or (d) infringement by you of any third party right.

14. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, government action, sanctions, internet or telecommunications failures, datacenter outages caused by upstream providers, cyber-attacks, pandemics, or natural disasters.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts at Karachi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services, without prejudice to our right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any competent jurisdiction.

16. Assignment and Severability

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
